Lehavot believes in a safer world, and protecting lives and property is the reason we developed our unique KITCHENShield fire suppression system. The Lehavot KITCHENShield advanced fire suppression system is an automatic pre-engineered system designed to meet difficult challenges in commercial kitchens, and at the best cost-effectiveness ratio. With thousands of quick and simple installations worldwide, KITCHENShield is one of the most reliable fire suppression systems on the market. Electric and gas-operated cooking appliances in commercial kitchens produce large amounts of fat and oil vapor, posing an especially high risk of ignition and fire outbreak. The KITCHENShield kitchen fire suppression system is an automatic pre-engineered system designed to protect the kitchen area, including ducts, plenums, and cooking appliances such as deep fat fryers, woks, griddles, salamanders, chain broilers and more. The KITCHENShield system meets the needs of all commercial kitchens, large and small, such as kitchens in hotels, restaurants, hospitals and public institutions.

Heat detection

Lehavot commercial kitchen detection network uses a continuous cable that connects all detector brackets in the protected areas. Each detector is composesd  of four parts: detector bracket, fusible link and two “S” hooks. At a predetermined temperature, the fusible link will separate, relieving tension on the cable and activate the system.

Fire suppressing

Lehavot wet chemical agent is a strong potassium mixture that proved to be an effective material for suppressing and extinguishing fires in commercial kitchens.

Re-ignition Prevention

High performance system interrupts the supply of gas or electric, preventing fire re-ignition after the fire has been extinguished.

KitchenShield system structure

Liquid agent stored under pressure, when activated is transmitted through distribution network and discharged through nozzles

Fusible link

Electrical solder type link which will melt at a predetermined temperature, allowing the two halves of the link to separate, operating the extinguishing agent

Mechanical Release Module (MRM)

Activate when a fusible link separates in a fire condition and releases tension on the cable causing a loaded spring to activate the cylinder discharge valve

Manual pull station

Each Lehavot WCK system is equipped with at least one manual pull station providing a means of activating the system manually if required

Detector bracket assembly

Detector bracket supporting the fusible link and the continuous cable under tension.

Wet chemical agent cylinders

Wet chemical agent cylinders with capacities of 6-26 litres pressurized with N2 at a pressure of 15.5 bars at 21°C. Designed to work at temperatures from 0°C to 49°C
